Shirin also made her way as a model when she was chosen by United Colors of Benetton for their FW 2010 International Campaign. Alongside this modeling activity, Shirin started engaging in performance art pieces around Iran where she would defy a range of matters from sexuality to gender and human compassion.

Exploring the notion of self and identity with moving images has been a major part of Shirin’s art practice since 2012.

A multi-disciplinary artist, Shirinreleased a book entitled “Fashion & Conceptual Art” (Nazar Publication) following her year within the United Colors of Benetton’s Fabrica research center.

Her mirrors installation in different corners of the world have become a statement of Shirin’s portfolio. Her “Heaven on Earth” piece has won the last year’s Take Me To Art Dubai competition.
