Shirin Abedinirad in an Iranian visual artist born in Tarbiz in 1986. She attended the Dr. Shariaty University of Tehran where she studies graphic and fashion design. However, her first approach to art was painting, back in 2002.

Alongside this modeling activity, Shirin started engaging in performance art pieces around Iran where she would defy a range of matters from sexuality to gender and human compassion.
Exploring the notion of self and identity with moving images has been a major part of Shirin’s art practice since 2012.
A multi-disciplinary artist, Shirinreleased a book entitled “Fashion & Conceptual Art” (Nazar Publication) following her year within the United Colors of Benetton’s Fabrica research center.
Her mirrors installation in different corners of the world have become a statement of Shirin’s portfolio. Her “Heaven on Earth” piece has won the last year’s Take Me To Art Dubai competition.
