Multi-Brand Luxury Fashion Pop-Up “Le Closet” celebrated Dubai edition with a dinner at La Mar in collaboration with JDEED

Last March 5th, Multi-Brand Luxury Fashion Pop-Up “Le Closet” hosted an influencer dinner at La Mar in Atlantis The Royal, in collaboration with JDEED Magazine, to celebrate the launch of their first Dubai edition.
La Mar is led by Peruvian chef Gastón Acurio, which served incredible dishes to the selected guests, while beautiful flower ornaments by Dubai-based floral boutique Bella Fleur ensured the tables were looking absolutely stunning.

Le Closet took over 222 By Le Guépard for a week during which fashion enthusiasts and local celebrities shopped brands including De La Vali, Dima Ayad, Yuzefi, Bouguessa or, for the first time ever in a physical retail space, it-girls favorite French label Mirae.

Dubai-based pastry boutique Tout De Sweet was present on location to offer shoppers a delicious break with their oh-so-flaky croissants and divine matcha lattes and other cappuccinos.

Le Closet already hosted two successful events prior, one in Miami and the other in Monaco and we’ll be continuing their World tour with a stop in Dallas next month and London in May.

To celebrate, co-founders Lydia Scolaro and Haya El Kadi invited their A-list guests including Daniah Fawaz, Cyrielle Verstuyft, Huwaida Samman, Muzi Sufi, Tala Samman, Roma Abdesselam to join them for an intimate dinner at La Mar, in Atlantis The Royal.

THE RESTAURANT



Located on the mezzanine lobby level in Atlantis The Royal and overlooking the Skyblaze fountain, La Mar also boasts a fantastic open terrace where the Le Closet x JDEED Magazine dinner guests were sat. With a casual elegance and easy-going vibe, chef Gastón Acurio’s team of expert chefs sent out a mouthwatering selection of dishes including their renowned cebiche, the “cebiche Limeño” composed of octopus, Obsie Blue Shrimp, a Chef Fish selection, Choclo & Rocola Leche de Tigre , the “cebiche Brasa” with Blue Fin Tuna and Smoke Aji Amarillo Leche De Tigre, but also some “Conchitas La Mar” and later on some outstanding “Planchaza de Langostinos” (jumbo tiger prawns with choclo, antichuchera sauce and chimichurri,) and much more.

La Mar has now also launched their brunch*, the La Mar Pisco Brunch, taking place every Saturday from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
This gastronomic journey features award-winning signature dishes, mocktails or cocktails including unlimited traditional Peruvian beverages.
Created by La Mar’s talented Chef de Cuisine Cesar Ulloa, the Pisco Brunch menu dives deep into traditional Peruvian cuisine starting with a selection of the freshest seafood, highlighted by the preparation of Acurio’s celebrated cebiche, served from La Mar’s renowned Cebiche Bar. Later on, some of the most iconic dishes such as anticuchos, a beloved Peruvian street food featuring marinated grilled chicken, as well as the classic empanada, a harmonious blend of seafood and pastry keeps arriving at the guest’s table. To sign off beautifully, a chocolate mousse featuring chocolate sourced from various regions in Peru acts as the perfect dessert.

THE FLOWERS

Le Closet and JDEED partnered up with Dubai-based floral boutique Bella Fleur to create unique arrangements echoing the beautiful colors of the ocean’s theme at Peruvian La Mar.

The center piece featured some iconic flowers from Bella Fleur’s home country of Suriname. Bella Fleur ideally delivers through Whats’App or via their online store, that you can visit here.



*La Mar Pisco Brunch takes place every Saturday starting February 17th, from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm at La Mar by Gastón Acurio, Atlantis The Royal.
