Les Benjamins goes to the Dubai desert for their FW23 collection

Les Benjamins, the regional brand that needs no further introduction, continues making waves season after season and further strengthens their presence in the UAE. Not only did they just shoot their latest FW23 collection in the Dubai desert, they also continue their local expansion with a freshly opened store in City Walk.

Shot by Dubai-based Lebanese photographer Sophia Khalifeh, the shoot “was inspired firstly by the FW23 Les Benjamins collection and intended to not only reference the natural landscape of the UAE, but also Frank Herbert’s “Dune. ” she says.

The vibes, somewhat surreal, she explains, were born out of wanting to give the campaign a dark and almost alien-like feel “as though the subject just appeared in the middle of nowhere, but still have it feel natural.”

The concept compliments Womenswear Design Director Lamia Al Othaishan Aydin’s designs with ruffles and drapes in earthy tones and black that draw references from futurism and nostalgia.
