@thehala — Hala Abdullah — Multidisciplinary influencer

Let’s take a closer look at the featured talents, starting with Saudi multidisciplinary influencer Hala Abdullah, known as @thehala on Instagram.
With a keen eye for everything beauty and fashion, Abdullah shares her edgy and sophisticated vision online to an audience of 2,6 million followers. A philanthropic soul, Hala believes that “everyone is born with a purpose and is in this world to serve others.”

Her mission to support women’s rights goes beyond throwing the word empowerment left and right: “I feel like we use the word ‘empowerment’ so much, and especially ‘female empowerment.’ We don’t need that because we are powerful. It feels like they’re trying to tell us, you’re not powerful, so we’re trying to empower you, with all these campaigns about empowering women. I feel like they should change the word to something else.

@moalhbabi — Mohammed Alahbabi — Photographer, filmmaker and visual artist

The second talent, Mohammed Alahbabi, is an Emirati content creator and digital influencer who expresses himself best through photography, filmmaking, painting or writing. Grounded in the moment, Alahbabi prefers to focus on a carpe diem philosophy rather that projecting himself too far.

His recipe to feel optimistic? A mix of faith, hope and happiness: “I really enjoy being creative with my family members, because it’s like a free comfortable zone that I have and they make it so special. You’re sharing your interest and at the same time, you’re creating joyful moments with them.

Last but not least, Palestinian-Syrian model and filmmaker Lana Albeik whose interest lays in telling the story of her people, which she communicates through modelling and other creative works. Albeik believes in changing the future through having a presence in the ever-evolving digital world we live in: “I think being part of a community that creates and is present in the digital world allows us to have the starting flame for change.

While she believes all of us possess multiple facets to our personalities, it’s the one the world sees that matters in the end.
