Ameena and Asma Khaled Saif are the two sisters behind the Bahraini label AKS, which they founded in 2013.

These two autodidact sisters draw inspiration from the French Art Deco Era and especially its architecture.

Modern drapes, a very structured yet deconstructed way of wrapping the woman’s body, efficient palette colors, AKS is a brilliant combinaison of Ameena and Asma’s personalities. A mix of well mastered tailoring and a very contemporary aesthetics.
