Crush Of The Week

All the fashion things we have our eyes on this week

By  |

Autumn-winter on planet Fashion is looking super exciting. From inspiring collabs to new colors making their way into our dressings, we’re making room to welcome novelty and fabulousness that will gladly light up a few grey days this season.
Lacoste, Jimmy Choo, Longchamp and more, here’s a round-up of what we’re crushing on this week.

LONGCHAMP X ROBERT INDIANA

The past few years, the beloved French brand launched numerous super cool collabs, from Pokemon to Toiletpaper, André, D’Heygere or Filt, recreating quirky versions of the cult Pliage. This newest drop, a tribute to the late American artist Robert Idiana, is bound to know similar success as previous limited editions. The artist’s LOVE image became an inevitable icon of the 20th century, making it one of the world’s most recognizable artwork.

I have always admired the late American artist Robert Indiana, partly because I felt his work, which is so graphic in style and optimistic in tone, really matched the bold spirit and bright energy of Longchamp. Love is universal, a positive message that is understood all over the world, and I liked the idea of reproducing this message on Le Pliage®, a universally beloved bag. I love the idea of releasing an ephemeral collection created to last forever”, says Sophie
Delafontaine, Longchamp Creative Director and grand-daughter of the founder.

We clearly have our eyes on the XS handbag in green and the travel bag, perfect for funky staycays.

JIMMY CHOO INTRODUCES CASSIS

Jimmy Choo is introducing a new hue we didn’t know we needed in our closet. It’s chic, it’s bold, it’s cassis. Not mauve, not lilac but a refined violet that screams luxe and that compliments basically every other color you already own in that wardrobe. It’s true; think about it: orange? yes. Yellow? also. Blue, red, pink, white, green, black? Indeed!

Played out across Jimmy Choo’s Autumn 2023 collection, this rich shade is taking over classics, new styles and handbags.

PARFUMS DE MARLY’S ALTHAÏR

We really dove into the universe of Parfums De Marly just last year and let’s just say that to know it is to love it. The haute parfumerie maison was founded in 2009 by Julien Sprecher, who’s also the house’s creative director, and has quickly become a favourite in our region. We’ve become literally obsessed with their Valaya fragrance but this autumn, we’re warming up with their newly launched Althair, a unisex bold scent.
For the first time, Althaïr explores a majestic, subtle and surprisingly fresh vanilla that is elegant, generous and charismatic,” says Sprecher.

When we tell you everyone has been asking us what perfume we’re wearing …
