Born in 1985 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Noura Bouza has had quite an international education. After completing a degree in Art & Fashion from Central Saint Martins in London, she carried on with a Master of Arts in History of Art and Archeology at SOAS, the School of Oriental and African Studies, still in London.
This is not over yet. Bouzo also holds a BA in Fine Arts from LAU, the Lebanese American University of Beirut. Noura is the co-founder of Oasis Magazine, a Saudi art and culture publication, in charge of putting into light Arabic artists.
Her work has been exhibited in the Gulf Countries, Iran, Tunisia but also in London and at the Singapore Art Fair in 2014. She is also one of the co-founder of the Saudi Design Week which takes place every year in Riyadh and was named Saudi Arabia female artist of the year in 2015.
We discovered Noura’s work in August last year and instantly fell in love. Both traditional and modern, Noura is adding a pop twist to culturally connoted projects.
