Located in Saida’s Medineh in the heart of the historic Old Souk, within the labyrinthine alleyways, facing Saida’s Old Port, the new Tawlet, Tawlet Saida will open its doors this Saturday April 22nd.
Developed in partnership with the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development, Tawlet Saida aims to encourage the development of local women’s skills and enable their customer to enjoy the rich culinary heritage of Saida’s cuisine.
Separated in two floors, Tawlet Saida welcomes you both to enjoy lunch and to shop some delicacies. While the upper floor is a dining area with breath-taking port’s view, the rez-de-chaussé is dedicated to local Saida products for people to purchase.
Kamel Mouzawak, founder of Souk el Tayeb happily declared: “Tawlet Saida will bridge social, ethnic and political differences in this beautiful region, bringing together people from various cultures and background, thus mirroring the positive impact of conviviality and coexistence, while telling the story of Saida through food, not war.”
Tawlet Saida is open from Tuesday to Sunday. For more information, please visit their website: www.tawletsaida.com
