La Come Di (LCD) is an emerging independent fashion label based in Dubai which mixes streetwear and ready to wear in a very daring way to create unique pieces. “With fearless electric prints, color blocks and textures, LCD is bold, dreamy and inspired by the youth-culture of today.”
Producing only small batches or on individual order basis, LCD embraces a slow process focused on offering great quality at affordable prices. The brand qualifies as genderless and with their slow production system, as more sustainable.
“LCD SS20 collection Euphoria is inspired by the 70s world of optical prints, wavy lines, flares and oversized collars. Not just color- blocks and prints, LCD creates shapes, waves and volumes through the fabrics. A mix of details from streetwear merge into feminine ready to wear pieces.”
The Summer 20′ collection includes THE OPTICALE SCARF, a maxi silk foulard with striking optical print, vivid colors and stripes that you can style in so many different ways. As per THE BLOCK BLAZER, it’s part of a Summer suit, composed by block of colors that are fresh and summery, especially the deep cobalt blue which Elisa Arienti, the designer “fell in love with.” The fabric is a light soft crepe that creates amazing volume.
During this pandemic, LCD is struggling to produce pieces that were supposed to be in our store already. Being uncertain about the future of an emerging label like LCD, I will produce only few designs of the collection instead. LCD hopes to keep growing and experiment to always come up with the most unique products.
