From homeware to bags, travel accessories, jewelry, magazines, books, stationery, cards, party supplies, and clothing, The Yard has for aim to propose innovative and design products to its customers. And since that’s our philosophy at JDEED, we love The Yard for its selection of young local designers.

But it is not only just your regular concept store. The Yard works hand in hand with international designers on custom-made items specifically for the shop. Going for a shopping spree at The Yard is a real experience, much different from the one you could go for in other places across the region.

First co-founded as an online shop in early 2010 by graphic designers, Danah & Ala’a, The Yard’s first ambition was to diversify the offer within the Kuwaiti fashion market, with the wish to add a bit more eccentricity to it.

In less than four years, Danah and Ala’a managed to expand The Yard’s product line to cater to its growing customer base by collaborating with a local cafe “Q at the Yard”.

Q at The Yard is located in Sharq, Jaber Al Mubarak Street, Al Shurooq Tower, opposite Dasman Complex.

Opening hours are 7 days a week, 7AM – 11PM on weekdays and from 8AM – 11PM on weekends.

The Reading Room is located at The Visitor Center in AlShaheed Park, AlSoor Street, Sharq. Opening hours Tuesdays through Sundays 10AM-10PM (closed Mondays) and Fridays from 1-10PM.
