Golden Rhythms: Piaget’s Dazzling Art Dubai Moment Celebrates Six Decades of Bold Elegance

At JDEED, we’re always drawn to those who master the art of transformation—and this year at Art Dubai, Piaget did exactly that. Through shimmering timepieces, surrealist collaborations, and the standout launch of its Sixtie jewellery watch collection, the Maison once again affirmed its place in the cultural zeitgeist.

From April 16–20, Piaget's “Play of Shapes” exhibition made waves at Art Dubai 2025, turning Madinat Jumeirah into a radiant haven of creativity, craftsmanship, and narrative design. As the fair’s exclusive Watch and Jewellery partner, Piaget unveiled a multisensory experience that felt less like a product showcase and more like a living, breathing dialogue between heritage and innovation.

The centerpiece? The launch of Sixtie—a jewellery watch collection that JDEED fell head-over-heels for. Born from Piaget’s legendary ‘60s archive and reimagined through a 2025 lens, Sixtie isn't just a timepiece—it’s a trapeze-shaped jewel, unapologetically sculptural and profoundly feminine. The watch wraps around the wrist like a talisman, shimmering with an audacious spirit that pays tribute to the flamboyance of the late 1960s while speaking directly to modern movement and magnetism.

But Piaget didn’t stop at design. The Maison tapped into the region’s creative core through a series of standout collaborations. Kuwaiti artist Alymamah Rashed offered a surrealist interpretation of the Sixtie’s silhouette in a stunning work titled “Your Love Moves Around My Trapeze Sun”, while Emirati designer Shamsa Alabbar brought Arabic typographic beauty to the Limelight Gala in a limited-edition tribute to the Gulf’s maritime legacy and timeless pearls.

Between high jewellery watches, reimagined icons like the Piaget Polo 79, and the timeless allure of the Black Tie by Andy Warhol series, the Maison created a visual rhythm that danced through light, colour, and heritage.

And as golden hour settled over Dubai, Piaget’s celebration continued beyond the exhibition floor—culminating in an intimate evening where collectors, creators, and friends of the brand gathered in honour of this radiant new chapter.
