Jimmy Choo Collaborates with UAE Artist Shaikha Al Mazrou for a Striking Cultural Exchange

Luxury powerhouse Jimmy Choo has partnered with acclaimed UAE artist Shaikha Al Mazrou for an exclusive artwork commission. Titled Symmetrical Repeats, the piece symbolizes a rich fusion of fashion and art, encapsulating the ongoing creative dialogue between the prestigious brand and the thriving Middle Eastern art scene.

Al Mazrou, renowned for her exploration of material and structure, weaves her sculptural expertise into Jimmy Choo’s Diamond motif, adding her distinctive boldness. The outcome is a vivid red steel sculpture that mirrors the brand’s Autumn 2024 color palette. Through the geometric repetitions, the artwork prompts reflection on material transformation and perception.

“This collaboration honors local talent and embodies the strength and elegance that are integral to both our brand and the UAE,” says Sandra Choi, Creative Director of Jimmy Choo. The artwork was just unveiled tonight  at Lawrie Shabibi Gallery, accompanied by a panel discussion featuring Al Mazrou, Choi, and William Lawrie, moderated by Maán Jalal.
