The Latest Casablanca x New Balance Collaboration Brings Grand Prix Luxury To Your Every Step

Sports car fans will go crazy for the brands’ newest and long awaited collab, the XC-72 model, that, from the sneakers’ sleek racing stripes to the vintage Grand Prix-esque campaign posters, transports you straight to Monte-Carlo.

Off the back of the success of their first collab, the Casablanca x New Balance 327, Casablanca has teamed up with footwear label New Balance once again on the new XC-72 sneaker. 

The shoes are for those with a need for speed: they’re fun, daring and not for the faint-hearted. The colour combinations of a bold red and yellow or a bright orange and green allow you to fulfill all your wildest luxury motor dreams. Subtle yet thoughtful touches, the shoe’s textured black sole brings to mind racing tires, meaning it is indeed the closest you’ll probably get to a ‘Sports Car For Your Feet’.

Casablanca’s Creative Director Charaf Tajer and Art Director Steve Grimes elaborate on this characterisation of the new model: “It evokes that feeling of when you first saw a luxury car as a child, you knew it was a car but it was different to any car you’d seen before, it’s a feeling, a sense of wonder, designed to perform, designed to be special.”
